Steam Game Yawere: Cathedral 3-D
It’s been awhile, but each of these games had at least one glaring issue that made these quite easy to assess.
Cathedral 3-D is an arena FPS game of sorts where you must protect a chest and defend it for as long as possible. It’s created with a very early 90s retro style to it a la Catacomb 3-D. The similarities between the two titles is why I chose it. It most definitely isn’t a modern take on Catacomb 3-D though.
This title was released October 28, 2020 by developer Unfinished Games and publisher Feardemic. It’s unclear whether Unfinished Games is a separate studio or under the Feardemic umbrella. It does appear to be the only game on Steam by them, though. A mixed (62%) score after 98 reviews gives reason for hesitation. There is a prequel Chapel 3-D: The Ascent coming soon but no specific date appears to be available.
