Checking Out Random MMORPGs in September 2024 Part 3

We have more MMORPGs and related multiplayer online titles to check out. I purchased 8 additional titles to check out over the next few months as well. Hopefully we find a hidden gem this time and not just a bunch of dead, broken or scam games.

CosmicBreak Universal is a gacha MMORPG that’s been around off-and-on since the 2000s. The most recent release promised balance issues to be resolved as well as other game issues to be fixed / improved. According to the reviews, the developers failed in keeping their promises. It currently sits at Mixed Reviews (56% positive).

The soundtrack and stylistic graphics are quite good given the age of this game. The music isn’t good enough for a listen separate from the game, but it’s definitely good enough to listen to while playing. Attempting to actually play the game resulted in an endless loading screen.

This game freezes and crashes often. It’s not a true MMORPG — it’s a lobby-based game where small groups can attempt instanced missions. The game itself is fun even if the controls seem a bit imprecise and slippery. There are pay-to-win items in the cash shop. This is definitely a game with a lot…
