Checking Out 20 Random MMORPGs in August 2024 — Part 3

Let’s recap the titles we’ve played and ranked thus far:

1. Citywars Savage — 0/5 [It is free and is a playable tower defense game at least]
2. Hazordhu — 0/5 [It has a playable sandbox mode still.]
3. Spellfarers — 0/5 [It is a recent release so issues logging in could be fixed.]
4. Dream back — 0/5 [Abandoned and offline but at least free.]
5. Retro RPG Online 2–0/5 [Abandoned and offline but at least less expensive than Nestalgia.]
6. Nestalgia — 0/5 [Abandoned, offline, and still $9.99 on Steam.]

So far we’ve tried to play 6 MMORPGs and all we got was a tower defense game and a single player sandbox mode for an MMORPG. Will we do better today? We shall see.

Legendary Road Online was released to Steam on June 29th, 2024 by developer and publisher LRO. The title looks very, very familiar. It has that early-to-mid 2000s Asian grindfest MMORPG appearance to it.

It’s JOYMAX’s Silkroad Online except in the form of some rubbish private server ran by degenerates. Or perhaps it’s ran by good people. I…
